About the Authors

Robert Morandell and Christoph Gruber are both experienced teachers and practising musicians. Together they developed the didactic basics of ‚Rockodile‘.

Thanks to their years of experience as musicians and electric guitar teachers and the extraordinary team spirit of the two authors, a milestone in educational literature has emerged- a practice-oriented play and workbook that uniquely combines the fun of playing with the seriousness of instrumental teaching and learning.

Robert Morandell and Christoph Gruber are also an experienced team on the presentation stage. The workshops of both combine in an appealing way a rousing/intoxicating/sweeping mix of didactic seminar and entertaining concert.

Graphic Design and Layout

Mathias Jan Daxner

The first caricatures Jan Daxner made were as a 7-year-old secretly under the desk at school, much to the displeasure of Madam Director. Later he tried to play a more respectable role as a flautist and instrumental pedagogue: permanent substitute at the national and state opera, engagements on the Vereinigte Bühnen, in Spanish orchestras, the last ten years in the Royal Oman Symphony Orchestra ...

But there was no way out - in the end the uncontrollable urge to scribble doodles on paper wins again and again.

The good thing is: you can sell that. And best of all: the Madam Director cannot forbid anything anymore.
